Axis-Y Complete No-stress Physical Sunscreen Review

Review Axis-Y Complete No-Stress Physcial Sunscree

I fell in love with brand Axis-Y ever since I started using their toner and ampoule which I have written down a review on it last year. You can read it here: REVIEW: AXIS-Y DAILY PURIFYING TREATMENT TONER & INTENSIVE BARRIER AMPOULE. The reason why I was very keen on trying this brand was that it only focused on 1 range of products at that time and their proposal claims that it could fight acne got me hooked. Of course, I looked into the ingredients first and one of the main reasons why I thought I should try was one of their main ingredients was Centella Asiatica. Now Axis-Y has come up with new products and one of them is this Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen which has now become my daily sunscreen. Keep on reading to know why.

Disclaimer: This product was bought by me to try and my thoughts and review on it are based on my personal experience. Do note that all skin types are different, hence how this product reacted to my skin may not be the same as yours.

What is Axis-Y Complete No-stress Physical Sunscreen

It's obviously a physical sunscreen.

A Physical Sunscreen that protects your skin from UVA + UVB rays. Safe for sensitive skin. No white cast. No Animal Ingredients. No mineral oils. No Fragrance. No Parabens. Doesnt Clog pores. Applies with no flaking, dryness, or break outs.

What Axis-Y Claims On Its No-stress Sunscreen

Axis-Y Physical Sunscreen contains Artemisia Capillaris Extract (0.005%) mixed with other ingredients known for its anti-bacterial properties as well, which are Chamomile and Squalane. Grape Seed extract promotes wound-healing, while also exhibiting anti-ageing properties along with Green Tea and Calendula extract, all of which support skin rejuvenation. It also contains Niacinamide for it's brightening and skin-balancing properties.

It's also claimed the inclusion of the patented SYN-COLL ingredient takes this sunscreen to the next level, promoting collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis - in other words, it's a powerful anti-ageing and pore reducing compound. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

Makes this sunscreen just perfect for everyone especially for those acne-prone and oily skin types. It's quite fascinating that this sunscreen provides broad-spectrum sun protection while helping to heal skin and providing anti-ageing benefits. It's also lightweight, more like a moisturizing cream that blends in castless. It helps calm and relieves skin from sun exposure and other irritations with no pore-clogging effect.

Key Ingredients
When I found out about the sunscreen, I was already eager just by seeing the packaging. Simple and sleek. But of course, I had to look into the ingredients and I was totally hooked. My Thoughts On Axis-Y No Stress Physical Sunscreen

Ingredients

Looking into the ingredients Mugwort, Calendula, Grape Seed, Green Tea, Chamomile, Squalane, and Allantoin, all these provide super properties for the skin. Mugwort especially as its base, with anti-bacterial and healing power. Any Potter heads ring a bell on Mugwort? Yupp!!

Packaging

Love love love the packaging. It comes in a sleek tube, so it fits nicely in pouches or bags to be carried around. And the spout of the packaging makes it neater with the clear plastic tube, easy to control the quantity of product you want to take out and it reduces mess also.

Texture

The texture is creamy and it takes time to absorb into the skin. It's a bit oily at first but after spreading it evenly it becomes less oily. It does leave a white cast if you don't blend it in properly but it doesn't leave a sticky feeling to the skin after application. It also doesn't create a shining look to the skin after application which makes me love it even more.

Scent-wise

Not much scent to it to describe.

Reaction

The first time I tried this on, it kinda stung my skin but it was bearable, it then reduced after the first few tries which then I felt nothing once applied. I noticed with this sunscreen I tend to have fewer pimples popping out which seems to be a great sign too.

Overall Thoughts

If you've been following me, you'll know that I've suffered from acne breakouts which took me a year to heal, and until now I've been very cautious with the ingredients I use in my skincare. I've been looking into sunscreen that could provide healing properties as well especially for acne-prone skin and this is the one. The best thing is, it fits all the criteria of a good sunscreen which are broad-spectrum, with SPF 50+ above including PA++++ which is required to help protect from both UVA and UVB rays. Some sunscreen doesn't provide this so be alert to this.

I've used the whole tub within a month, it's kinda long gone now but I'm planning to repurchase this again as it's suitable to be used as a daily sunscreen. I kinda wished it had a bigger tub at a reduced price. The only downside to this is that it couldn't last for a few months with daily application. LOL

Till then peeps!
