ALTHEA KOREA LAUNCHES A'BLOOM. MASKS, PUFFS & BLASTERS

I bet you've heard of A'Bloom already. It's Althea Korea's newest launch and I'm a few of the lucky ones to have try it out before it launched. It's already launched in the market now, so don't worry. ;) If you've been following me on Instagram, you've seen me share about their newest launches a couple of times, so today's post is mostly a recap and overall summary on how I feel about their newest line. If you have no idea what Althea just launched, well keep on reading, you're not going to regret with its cuteness!

The pre-launch of A'Bloom was held in Malaysia since Althea's main office is in Malaysia even though their International. Althea has an international beauty community where they're called Althea Angels and I'm part of them. Lucky for Malaysian Angels, we get to attend launches and experience products first hands. Above are some pictures during the launch party.

Remember I once shared about Althea's Makeup line and that I was very happy to see them produce makeup now. Well, with the launch of A'Bloom I bet more goodness is to come with cuteness overload! Just check out below.

First up are these face masks, which are super cute to see and very affordable to own too! Just anyone could own it as it only costs RM2 each and before you start judging, these masks are made from very good things. Each mask has its own specialty which I'll give you a little breakdown below:

Great for: Oily Skin
Purpose: An anti-blemish mask that purifies and soothes irritated and sensitive skin.
Key Ingredients: Peach extracts, Tea tree oil

My Thought: I love this mask the most, which also made me buy a bundle of it since I'm also having problems with acne right now, this mask a day should do the trick. Besides, the mask is simply soothing during and after worn, it gives a complete lift to the skin and I love the soft scent it has.

Great for: Dry Skin
Purpose: Rich in antioxidants to nourish and protect skin from harmful environmental factors and prevent wrinkles
Key Ingredients: Avocado extracts, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract.

My Thought: Very moisturizing and the moisture lasts quite a while after a mask session. The scent is soft and very nice too,

Great for: Combination Skin
Purpose: Provides hydration and moisturization
Key ingredient Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract

My Thought: My biggest regret not instantly buying a bundle of this from their launching sale last time. It provides instant hydration and it feels exactly the same as a few pricey hydration masks I've tried on before. I mean the feel of the skin absorbing the essence giving it a boost and sensational hydrating feeling to the skin. Of course, the sweet soft scent adds as a bonus.
Great for: Combination Skin
Purpose: Brightening mask clarifies and brightens dull skin
Key ingredient Niacinamide, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract

My thought: No matter how much I'm loving the USP of this mask, I can't seem to wear it as it stings a bit for me. I'm not sure the cause but probably the mask may be a bit acidic for my skin or there's an ingredient that I'm unable to use. I haven't figured it out yet. So I'm unable to comment further since I only used it once for about 1 minute and took it off when it started to sting.
Overall, these masks have surely made its way to become a welcoming member in my mask stash and I'm so glad that it actually came from Althea itself since 90% of my masks are bought from them since they launched. I'm not sure about you, but Althea has surely been my mask heaven for years, especially when they always have those deals that you simply can't resist. Which other sites could offer 10+10 mask so often?
Anyhow, there's like one thing that bothers me about this mask is that it's not easy to wear. It has a great sheet texture which is not thin and just nice to have it on, but to put in on is a challenge. It has too many cuts at the edge where I get that it's designed to fit any face, but it's a thumbs down for me. Seems like the cutting of the mask is just wrong as it stretches wide but too short on my forehead. It's like covering only half of my forehead. I hope they change their sheet design in the future.

Next up is one of the cutest beauty sponges that I have ever seen, Althea's A'bloom Meringue Puff! Have you ever seen such cuteness for a makeup sponge? Not only that it's completely an irresistible product, its affordable to everyone. Retails almost half the price from a local sponge on the market. You'll regret if you don't grab this as soon as you can.
Althea has created two versions of the Meringue Puff which are Giant Meringue Puffs and Baby Meringue Puffs. Made from high-density latex-free foam, these puffs totally beat those cheap brands even though they sell it cheap. Not saying it's the best beauty sponge in the market but with the price their offering, it's surely a must have especially for those who own makeups but don't wear it everyday kind. If you know what I mean.

But for me, I'm satisfied enough with its outcome especially when it's absorbed with a bit of water. It blends well for me and creates the type of finish I desire whether wet or dry.

Next up, is Althea's A'bloom BHA Blackhead Buster which is aimed to help fight off blackheads and whiteheads naturally. Below are my thoughts on this:

Althea Korea's newest A'Bloom range consist of this Natural BHA Blackhead Blaster which its main ingrediant is White Willow, a natural BHA ingrediant. Also contains Charcoal, Apricot Seed, Tea Tree Leaf Oil which helps to soothly remove Blackheads and Whiteheads. Its designed in a stick to be used as a simple and quick product to wash all the goo away. Just 1 minute exfoliate and wash with lukewarm water, it promises removal of blackheads and whiteheads. Slide to see my before, during and after picture using this BHA stick on my nose. You'll see a slight less fewer blackheads and whiteheads seen. Which I expected it to be as it comes with no pain. The formulation is suppose to melt away the impurities but I didn't really think it'll deeply cleanse with no slight pain invovled especially when we're dealing with blackheads and whiteheads here. But still not bad for a gentle exfoliation, you can still see obvious results. Probably with usage repeats, results would be more obvious. I'll recommend this for those who cannot stand pain or have acne problems. . #AltheaKorea #ABloomBHABlackheadStick

That's all for A'Bloom products which I hope to see more cuteness making their way in the Althea family. I simply adore Althea for being able to bring in high-quality products for a more affordable price so everyone could simply own a beauty-related product without having to break their banks. Even for myself, I'm grateful to have access to Althea as I also don't own the luxury to splurge on high-end beauty products, but I do get a taste of quality products for the fraction of price because of them.
