Korean Film Festival 2015 in Malaysia, Free Tickets to be Redeemed


Korean movie fans start to scream cause the Korean Film Festival is finally back in Malaysia. They will be collaborating with GSC Cinemas at 5 main malls within Malaysia. And if your wondering how much you have to get your wallets ready, put them back cause your not gonna need it. It's completely free, but with you will have to redeem the tickets of course. How? Well keep on reading.





The Korean Film Festival 2015 will be from 20 August – 23 August. This event is organized by The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia that is offering a unique chance for Korean film-lovers to watch award winning movies from Korea. A total of 10 films will be shown in participating Golden Screen Cinemas in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak. 

The Korean Film Festival will be presenting films across a diverse selection of Korean film genres, which include recent classics as well as award winning films. Drama, action-thriller, heart-warming romance movies and animation are in the line-up.

This four days event will be showcasing exciting Korean movies that cater the audiences from across all age groups. The festival features a line-up of ten films which are selected among the best of Korean cinema. 

The movies includes: multi-award winning thriller “The Thieves”, “Confession of Murder”, romance drama, “All About My Wife”, “Marriage Blue”, history movie “The Front Line”, family drama, “My Paparotti”, “Duresori: The Voice of the East”, comedy “Man on the Edge” and animation films, “The King of Pigs” and “Green Days: Dinosaur and I”.

All of the film screenings will be free based on complimentary passes which can be redeemed via www.koreanfilmfestival.com.my, www.gsc.com.my, My Maxis Mobile App, The Star, and Harian Metro. 

Korean movie fans can then proceed to these selected locations: GSC Pavilion KL, GSC 1 Utama, GSC Gurney Plaza Penang, GSC CityONE MegaMall Kuching and GSC Suria Sabah Kota Kinabalu to redeem their tickets while stocks last. Redemption of tickets are from 20 to 23 August.
